I went to the hospital a few weeks after giving birth to my son, due to extremly bad stomach pains.

When I got to the hospital they gave me a cat scan.and thats when they discovered I had a “liver mass”. I am not .00% sure what that is (please explain). Well the doctor wanted to keep an eye on it and wanted me to come back in a few months. Well its been 6 months and its still there.its like the size of a nickel. I am worried and scared because I don’t know what that means.I was told to go see a Gastroenterology
I don’t fully know whats going on.i don’t know what a liver mass is and if i will die from this. Im scared

Well I doubt it has anything to do with giving birth to your son. A liver mass is just any benign swelling in the liver, but it can develop into cancer. I don’t really know much beyond this, so I’ll spare you my amateur prognosis.
